SCOTT AUCTION will be conducting the 2010 FARM AND INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT CONSIGNMENT AUCTION on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 15th, 16th, and 17th of February, 2010.

The 2009 Farm and Industrial Equipment Consignment Auction was again a success, with 305 consignors taking advantage of the opportunity to sell 2772 lots of equipment. There is a very high demand for used equipment and dealer inventories are low. This should be your best chance to get top dollar for your used equipment. Look your property over and see what you have that you would like to turn to cash. Contact us as soon as possible about your consignments. The earlier you contact us and consign your items the more they will be advertised. We expect this auction to be larger than last year and it has become one of the best attended auctions in the area. The 2009 auction attracted over 1000 registered buyers, with over 2000 people in attendance, almost 1.75 Million dollars in merchandise was auctioned and over 98% of the merchandise sold. The auction will be advertised locally, state and nation wide, and also on the INTERNET on our website "www.scottauction.com" along with several other Internet sites. The website will be constantly updated as items are consigned and pictures will be added if consignors can provide pictures or as the items arrive on the auction site.

The smaller and older machinery, livestock equipment, shop equipment, parts, repairs and miscellaneous items sell on Monday the 15th. Large late model farm, hay, irrigation equipment, construction equipment, ATV's, R.V's, Boats, small trailers and related items sell on Tuesday the 16th. Large industrial equipment, tractors, trucks, combines, swathers and related items sell Wednesday the 17th.

The auction will again be held on the Native Pasture area in front of the Garden City Regional Airport, just North of Midstates Mfg. (the former Garst Seed Plant). We have also leased an additional 4 acres to the West, expanding the lot by 50%. The lot will be open from January 1st thru March 17th, to give ample time to get the merchandise in before the auction and out after the auction. This location gives your merchandise very high exposure, especially if you consign and deliver your consignments early in January. This lot is level native grass making unloading and loading easier, highway frontage providing great exposure and convenience, along with ample parking and with-in walking distance of the airport for those fly-in buyers.

We will be charging a 1% Buyers Premium on sales, rather than increasing the commission rates to the consignors.

TERMS: Items that are farm, industrial, recreation, and construction related will be accepted. 1 item or 100, we can handle them. Commission rates on a per item basis: (MINIMUM COMMISSION OF $2.00 PER LOT)

          $1.00 to $300.00 = 20%                  $5,001.00 to 20,000.00 = 5%
          $301.00 to $1000.00 = 15%           $20,001.00 to 40,000.00 = 4%
          $1,001.00 to $5,000.00 = 7%         $40,001 and above = 3%
